Morgan is an experienced practitioner who is frequently instructed by leading family law firms on complex and high-value financial work, with an emphasis on matrimonial finance cases. He is increasingly in-demand as an arbitrator and private FDR evaluator.

Overview

Morgan is an experienced ‘senior junior’ who focuses on all aspects of financial work in the field of family law, with an emphasis on matrimonial finance cases. He also regularly advises in property disputes between unmarried couples under “TLATA” and applications for financial provision for children. His caseload involves financial cases of significant complexity frequently involving the valuation of shares in private companies, trust assets and complex remuneration structures.

Morgan is regularly instructed on his own against QCs in very high-value financial cases, often with an international element. He has appeared before every level of tribunal up to and including the Court of Appeal. 

Morgan undertakes arbitrations both as advocate and qualified arbitrator, he also regularly sits as a private evaluator in out-of-court Financial Dispute Resolution hearings.   

In 2019, Morgan was appointed as a Recorder (part-time judge), sitting in the Family Court on the South Eastern circuit.
