Tim Amos KC appointed as a Financial Remedies arbitrator

QEB is pleased to announce Tim Amos KC’s appointment as a Financial Remedies arbitrator following his accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Ciarb).
Arbitration is an alternative to having your financial dispute determined in court. The parties appoint an arbitrator to make a binding determination as to the appropriate division of their assets.
Tim is a KC at the very top of his field, ranked Band 1 for Legal 500’s leading private FDR judges and arbitrators, and Band 1 for Chambers and Partners’ family/matrimonial: non-court dispute resolution. Tim also brings to his arbitration work the benefit of 15 years’ experience as a Specialist Family Recorder, sitting as a part-time judge on complex money cases in the FRC.
In Chambers and Partners, Tim has been praised for bringing ‘a cerebral approach’ with non-court dispute resolution, and is noted for being ‘able to clearly articulate difficult concepts to laypeople with patience and kindness’.
Tim’s appointment brings our total number of barristers offering arbitration to 15.
