QEB is proud to announce that our Joint Head of Chambers, Katie Cowton KC, has been appointed a Deputy High Court Judge by the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill. Katie has been assigned to the Family Division, and the appointment runs from 1 September 2025 until 31 August 2031. Katie will continue to practise from chambers, in addition to this judicial role.
