This week marks Family Mediation Council’s Family Mediation Week 2026, running from 26 to 30 January, which highlights the valuable role mediation plays in helping families navigate separation.

Mediation is a flexible and constructive way of resolving family disputes, which avoids the stress and delay of the court process and the associated costs of litigation. It is increasingly used for financial remedy and children disputes.
