Joshua McEvoy

Joshua’s practice comprises all areas of private family law, with a particular focus on financial remedies (including cohabitation disputes) and private law children proceedings.

Overview

Joshua joined Chambers in September 2019 having completed his pupillage under the supervision of Duncan Brooks, Sarah Phipps and Marina Faggionato. His practice comprises all areas of private family law, with a particular focus on financial remedies (including cohabitation disputes) and private law children proceedings.

Prior to joining QEB, Joshua was a solicitor in the family department of a Tier 1 Legal 500 firm. He qualified as a solicitor in 2014 and spent three years specialising in family law.

As a pupil, Joshua observed and assisted in a number of final hearings in the High Court involving complex trust structures, issues of jurisdiction and issues of non-disclosure. He also assisted with proceedings in the Court of Appeal.

Outside of work, Joshua participates in a variety of sports with varying degrees of success. He also enjoys attempting to cook and going to the theatre.
