He is a regular lecturer both nationally and internationally. In spring 2013 he presented to the IAML Conference in Salzburg (an excerpt from which can be seen by following the attached webinar link). Previously he appeared at a workshop at the European Parliament, to consider the extent to which there is scope for a unified European approach to Matrimonial Law. Domestically, he has provided many seminars and lectured for Jordans and Butterworths on their National Courses.
He has contributed to a number of legal publications.Charles has been a member of the Family Procedure Rules Committee since 2004.

Charles is married with three children. He is an enthusiastic natural historian. He enjoys any live music and watching the progress of his sonsí bands. He is a keen spectator of sport and endeavours to keep reasonably fit.
