A leading junior specialising in complex financial disputes on divorce, relationship breakdown and in respect of incapacitated adults in the Court of Protection, and children cases involving complex welfare issues, relocation or abduction.

Expertise

Will has been a member of QEB since 2008 and is recommended in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500. He is instructed in equal measure in high value financial cases (divorce, cohabitation and Schedule 1) and children cases involving both welfare and international issues. He is ranked in both the matrimonial finance and children law sections of Chambers & Partners, and has appeared in a number of recent ground-breaking cases in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal involving both financial and children work. 

Will is recognised as a specialist in international cases: divorce jurisdiction and forum disputes, international enforcement in financial and children cases, child abduction and relocation, and the protection of vulnerable adults under the inherent jurisdiction and in the Court of Protection.  He has advised solicitors on English law across many EU & worldwide jurisdictions and has provided both written and oral evidence to overseas courts in the course of foreign proceedings.  

Appointed to the Attorney General’s Panel of Special Advocates in 2018.

Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, having qualified through IFLA in 2021.
