Roxanne specialises in complex financial remedy matters following divorce. She also has a busy practice in private children law disputes and applications under the Family Law Act 1996.
Confident and persuasive, Roxanne is often complimented by both clients and judges on her oral and written advocacy. She is commended for her sound judgment and ability to digest and analyse complex information quickly and accurately. Roxanne is frequently instructed against opponents many years her senior.
Roxanne completed her pupillage under the supervision of Rosemary Budden, Daniel Bentham and Morgan Sirikanda.
Before coming to QEB, Roxanne assisted on complex, multi-million pound financial remedy cases working as a paralegal for a leading matrimonial finance law firm. She also spent time in Mississippi, USA, working on post-conviction death row appeals with charity Amicus, volunteered with the Royal Courts of Justice Citizens’ Advice Bureau, and represented parents in their tribunal appeals against Local Authority decisions concerning their children’s special educational needs.
