Practice profileWilliam has been a member of QEB since 2008 and covers all areas of family law. He undertakes cases relating to children, financial matters and domestic violence. William has a keen interest in international work and jurisdiction disputes, and has been instructed on a number of leave to remove and child abduction cases (both Hague and non-Hague Convention). He has advised solicitors on English law in Germany, Gibraltar and Jersey. In ancillary relief William has been instructed on cases both alone and as junior counsel in ‘big money’ cases. William has lectured on a number of subjects, including disclosure and confidentiality, pre-nuptial agreements and child abduction. He acted as rapporteur to the 2011 Dartington Interdisciplinary Conference.

Personal William speaks German and French and was once a ski instructor in Verbier, Switzerland. He was brought up in Devon and returns there regularly to surf and walk on Dartmoor with his lurcher.
