Practice profileSaima successfully completed her pupillage under the supervision of Alexander Thorpe, Oliver Wise, Daniel Bentham and Catherine Cowton. Saima’s practice encompasses all aspects of family law, including both ancillary relief and children matters. Saima speaks Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi and has spent time as an interpreter and mediator in family cases. Saima’s language skills are an asset in cases involving non – English speaking parties.
Prior to joining QEB, Saima spent twelve months at Byrom Street Chambers in Manchester under the supervision of Darryl Allen. In addition to her family law work, Saima has experience in the areas of personal injury, clinical negligence and cases involving the General Medical Council.

Saima is a member of the Family Law Bar Association.
Education
Saima obtained First Class Honours in History at the University of Bristol before completing the CPE and BVC at the College of Law. Saima was awarded the Princess Royal Scholarship, the Sir Peter Taylor Scholarship and the Duke of Edinburgh Entrance Award by the Honourable Society of Inner Temple.
Personal
Saima is passionate about food and enjoys cooking for family and friends. She also enjoys travelling abroad and hopes to spend more time exploring the Middle East, Kashmir and Africa in the future.
