Oliver's main areas of work are ancillary relief and professional negligence,
especially in relation to family law; but he has extensive experience
of a broad range of common law work. He has a particular interest in cases
that involve more than one area of the law.

Appointments and Memberships
Oliver is a legal assessor to the Nursing & Midwifery Council. He
is a member of the Family Law Bar Association and the Professional Negligence
Bar Association.

He has lectured to firms of solicitors on professional negligence issues and
pitfalls.
Education
Oliver read law at Magdalene College, Cambridge. He was a Greenland scholar
of Lincoln's Inn.
Personal
Oliver is married with three children. He plays cricket and
