profile
Morgan's
practice is almost exclusively in the Family Law field with an emphasis on matrimonial financial matters. He also regularly advises in property disputes between unmarried partners under "TLATA".
In addition to this financial work, Morgan also undertakes a wide range of private law children
work (including child abduction), and has also acted for parents in care proceedings.
Morgan
has experience at every level of tribunal from the family Proceedings Court
to the High Court.
In 2006 Morgan was the recipient of a Pegasus travelling scholarship. This enabled him to take up a placement as a judicial assistant to Her Honour Diana Bryant, the Chief Justice of the Family Court of Australia.

Memberships
Morgan is a member of the Family Law Bar Association. He helps edit the FLBA's newsletter Family Affairs.
Education
Morgan read English at the University of Liverpool where he graduated with
first class honours. He then obtained a diploma in Law (with commendation) from the City University. While at Bar School he was awarded a Diplock Scholarship
by the Middle Temple and also a Blackstone Entrance Exhibition.
Personal
Morgan enjoys listening to music and playing and watching cricket. He is also
a seasoned participant, as both writer and performer, in the Middle Temple Revels
show each December in Middle Temple Hall. |
