LEWIS MARKS QC

Call: 1984

Practice profile
Ranked in band 1 amongst the leading silks in Family Law in The Legal 500 and in Chambers & Partners (2008) in which it is said that his "combination of advocacy, numeracy and client skills means 'he has everything'".

For the last sixteen years he has practised exclusively in family law, and in particular in the sphere of "big money ancillary relief" (financial provision following divorce), and has appeared in many of the leading cases. He drafted the FLBA's response to the European Commission's Green Paper ("Rome III") on the applicable law and jurisdiction on international divorce matters, has been a long time member of the editorial board of the FLBA publication 'At A Glance' containing key information on all aspects of ancillary relief (and available in all good book shops, price only £35), and a member of the team responsible for @eGlance ©.
