Practice profileJennifer specialises in financial cases with substantial assets and complex structures. Many of her cases have an international element involving offshore trusts or companies. She works for clients who are divorcing as well as for those who are litigating in the context of claims brought on behalf of children in Schedule 1 cases.
She is regularly consulted in relation to pre- and post-nuptial agreements and generally in the context of asset protection.
Prior to taking silk, Jennifer was consistently ranked as a first class leading junior in Matrimonial Finance by the leading professional directories including Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500 and Legal Experts. She has been described over the years as “… outstanding in the way she deals with cases…”, “… a tremendous aptitude for figures …”, “ … a maturity and commanding presence in a practice which involves much international and forum shopping work…”. Appointments and MembershipsJennifer is a member of the FLBA and has served as a member of both the Family Proceedings Rules Committee and the Bar Standards Board’s Professional Conduct Committee.
She sits regularly as a Recorder both in the Royal Courts of Justice and on the Western Circuit. Appointed Deputy High Court Judge (Family Division) 2011.
She is a Fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (IAML).
