Practice profile
Duncan's practice comprises all aspects of family law, particularly financial provision and private law children
work. He represents high-net-worth individuals, and is used to dealing with complexities arising from trusts, business
accounts, taxation and international disputes. He is experienced at acting for and against those who work in the
media, entertainment, legal and financial professions.
Duncan also undertakes work in family-related common law cases, including disputes between former cohabitants
and professional negligence claims.
Duncan qualified as a collaborative lawyer with Resolution in January 2009. He also conducts private FDRs.
He is recommended as a leading junior in Chambers and Partners 2012: Duncan Brooks is another who "has impressed enormously this last year," having handled a number of high net worth and complex financial cases.
