Practice profile
Charanjit's practice covers most areas of family law including ancillary relief, schedule 1 cases, private law children, leave to remove, Part IV Family Law Act, TLATA applications. Charanjit has also been developing her experience in child abduction cases and has undertaken work for the Bar Pro Bono Unit.

Charanjit is multi-lingual.  Her considerable language skills (see below)  are particularly a great asset in cases which involve non-English speaking parties, and she has also used her interpreting skills in assisting mediation.  In addition Charanjit has hands-on experience of legal practice in a foreign jurisdiction as a result of her internship in New Delhi, India (see below).

Charanjit read Law at the University of Birmingham and went on to obtain a Masters degree from UCL.
She has undertaken an Internship at the Chambers of Parag Tripathi (Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court) New Delhi

Speaks Punjabi (native), Hindi (native), and  conversational Urdu and Spanish.
